Pastor Dan and his wife Lara were saved on November 15th 1992 at a small bible study while stationed at Marine Corps Air Base Iwakuni, Japan. Dan stayed in the Marine Corps for 8 more years, attending Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Margarita for most of that time. Dan met Kevin at a men’s retreat and God bonded them as friends instantly. In 1999 Dan and Lara went on vacation to Fort Bragg and began to feel a tug on their hearts toward Fort Bragg. After much prayer they decided that Fort Bragg was where God wanted them and in May of 2000 they moved to Fort Bragg. Shortly after they moved, Dan was asked to come on staff as Kevin’s assistant and the Youth leader. Dan was ordained by Pastor Kevin in December of 2002.
